Immortals form their very own mobile team for Tencent’s Arena of Valor, Immortals Mobile.
Mobile games are really catching up in the professional gaming scene. Arena of Valor, one of the biggest competitive mobile games in the world has been growing. More professional teams launch their own mobile line-up to compete in this gaming platform.
Immortals just formed their own team dedicated to mobile gaming called Immortals Mobile. Immortals CEO Noah Whinston believes that mobile games are the fastest growing segments of the gaming industry.
“Mobile esports are poised to benefit from that explosive growth. Today’s announcement is another significant milestone for Immortals, and we are very excited to work with one of the industry’s top mobile game publishers in Tencent to deliver phenomenal mobile gaming experiences to our fans.”
Tencent Games’ Esports Director Ramon Hermann believes in what Immortals can bring to the game. Jeff “SuiJeneris” Chau said that this is not just a chance for Immortals to compete, but this is also a chance for them to join the flow of mobile gaming mainstream.

Arena of Valor team Immortals Mobile will be under the wings of Captain “Assassin Dave” as they go head-to-head with other teams in the upcoming Arena of Valor World Cup. With $500,000 at stake, qualified teams will compete on July 2018 in Los Angeles.
Chau was entrusted by Whinston for his diverse business background and deep expertise in mobile esports. “Jeff brings both a diverse business background and deep expertise in mobile esports, a rare combination of skills to this role,” said Whinston. “His skills and experience, coupled with his passion for mobile gaming, make him uniquely qualified to understand each stakeholder in the mobile esports value chain. I look forward to seeing what this new roster will accomplish under his leadership,” he added.
