Meet the latest operative for Rainbow Six Siege. Maestro is the second Italian operative after Alibi and is a defender. He is also an expert at scouting and reconnaissance.
Ubisoft has finally revealed their second Operative. This comes just days after revealing Alibi, their first operative for Operation Para Bellum update. Mestro will be a defender, taking inspiration from the explorers of the Italian counter terrorism unit Gruppo di Intervento Speciale (G.I.S).
Maestro, whose real name is Adriano Martello, seems to be a hard-boiled veteran. He joined the Carabinieri as “Explorer Paratrooper in the 1st Paratrooper Regiment known as Tuscania.” He later helped Tuscania reach the status of Tier 2 Special Forces classification, which later helped him to join Rainbow. As of now, his abilities have not been revealed, but there are a lot of hints on his backstory page as well as the teaser released below.
In the teaser it seems that he is controlling a weapon from his mobile and kills some poor soul.
Further, the backstory says,
“His expertise lies in blocking access to key locations, and his blunt style allows him to see through smoke and mirrors, for which he has no patience. He shines when joined by his long-time G.I.S. teammate, Alibi.”
So apparently, he is going to really good at exploration and reconnaissance. “He is a wanderer known for his brilliant exploration, reconnaissance, and scouting techniques”, the intro reads.
Players have known about Alibi and Maestro since March now, when PC players found some files with their names. It was all but confirmed that the second operative would be Maestro when Ubisoft unveiled Alibi.
Full details regarding the operatives will be confirmed on Rainbow Six Twitch Channel on May 19-20th, when Ubisoft will do a full reveal of Operation Para Bellum. It will take place during the Rainbow Six: Siege Pro League Finals.
