Pokémon Quest is finally available for mobile devices!
Although it was first introduced on the Nintendo Switch recently, we are getting a lot of feedback online that it is waaaay better to be played in iOs and in Android. Aside from
Pokémon Quest offers another twist on the usual gameplay where you collect and battle them with other Pokémons. You have to cook food to attract them and they will join you willingly. There are at least 20 foods on the menu and it requires a specific recipe to attract the rarest Pokémon. If you are fond of playing Cafe Land, Star Chef and/or similar games, this will be EZ.
Mobile vs Switch
The answer actually depends on the player’s preference, but there are some points why a lot are rooting for the mobile versions. Here are the notable points:
- Accessibility– Given you have a data connection, you can pretty much access your mobile anytime, anywhere!(Including the bathroom).
- Battery Refill – Game changer. The mobile lets you fast forward the time so you can replenish your battery faster. On the other hand, patience will be your virtue since speed up for battery refill A.K.A. time forward is not in the features included in Switch version.
- In game purchase– You have to make purchases in Switch version and just a heads-up: purchases made in Switch are not transferable.
We are living in an age where everything needs to comfortable. This is where the portability and convenience in playing Pokémon Quest in both iOs and Android versions are much preferred. Although to give credit to Nintendo Switch as well for making a version that one should be proud of. No battery refill means no cheating, and, in-game purchases can definitely prove one’s passion for the game. Both platform has different advantage though I am just much more in favor of the mobile one.
How about you? Which side are you on? Team Mobile or Team Switch?
