Felix ‘xQc’ Lengyel lands himself another ban! This time, it is in League of Legends for “inflammatory and offensive” communication in-game.
Hard habits die hard as they always say. Controversial streamer xQc decided to dive into League of Legends after being banned from Overwatch for a short period of time. However, it looks like he may have had too much fun, as he finds himself on the naughty list of the popular MOBA.
xQc is known for having multiple suspensions from Overwatch and Overwatch league. Earlier, he was blasted for homophobic and sexist comments. He was even banned at Overwatch League twice for misbehaving even when he’s out of the game. However, he was still able to participate in Overwatch World cup even with a 15-day suspension from the game itself. His pattern of abusive in-game language seems to have caught up with him, following him all the way to League of Legends.
xQc banned from League of Legends?
His permanent ban was sent with a message including the terms “inflammatory and offensive” along with a reason why.
Because a player-triggered review found your in-game comms extremely inflammatory and offensive, your account’s been permanently suspended. You are among 0.006% of League players negative enough to be permanently suspended. Other players have judged your comms to be far below the standard of the League community. The vast majority of players agree that while League’s an intense, competitive game, all players deserve respect on the Rift.
This happened on stream and he didn’t look surprised or upset. Twitch clip below.
xQc promised to be better.
xQc has apologized for his Overwatch antics. He even tweeted an apology after receiving his temporary ban.
It is never my intention to harass or use in-game chat in an abusive manner. Banter is fun and 100% of the time I type something to someone I know they are playing along and won't be hurt. If I ever typed something and you we're genuinely hurt, I am sorry. I will be better.

He has yet to comment on his League of Legends ban.
This is not the first time a high profile player has been banned for displaying toxic behavior. Tyler1, perhaps the most notable one of all, was banned for a long period of time. But he has since changed his ways, with Riot giving him a second chance.
On the other hand, It’s unclear if xQc will ever find himself back on the Rift or if he even plans to reform. More on this as the story progresses.
