The Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Post-Launch content will also include new storylines, daily content and challenges, and Liberation Remaster as well.
Games as a service is a pretty new concept and a pretty successful one as well. We can see its success with games like Fortnite and Warframe. And it seems like Ubisoft will be implementing it as well in their upcoming title, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. The Odyssey Post-Launch content will be available to players who purchase the Season Pass, Gold, or special editions. Additionally, all the players will have access to their Lost Tales of Greece episodes as well as daily and weekly in-game events.
If you skipped the video above, I recommend you watch it. Ubisoft seems really ambitious about this. The Season Pass owners will get access to episodes of the Legacy of the First Blade and the Fate of Atlantis. Both the story Arcs will have 3 different episodes, which will release after a gap of 6 weeks. Legacy of the First Blade will deal with the origins of the Hidden Blade and the Assassin’s Creed and will release in December. The Fate of Atlantis will talk about the First Civilization and will also put players against the mythical Greek monsters. It will release in Spring 2019. The season Pass holders will also get access to Assassin’s Creed III Remastered and Assassin’s Creed Liberation Remastered. Remastered editions support 4K and HDR on PS4 Pro, Xbox One X, and PC, as well as higher-resolution textures, an improved lighting rendering system, and other graphical improvements.
Those who choose to skip the season pass won’t miss out on all of the fun.
They will still have access to Lost Tales of Greece. “The Lost Tales of Greece are free episodic stories that will release regularly between the larger post-launch episodes, providing a continual stream of new content to all players, with quests that feature new and familiar characters.”, the official announcement reads.
You might also want to check if you can run the game, as the requirements are pretty demanding.
Assassin’s Creed Odyssey will Launch on October 5.
