paiN X has been invited to the South American qualifiers for the Kuala Lumpur Major
After the disbanding of OpTic, the players seem to be doing well for themselves. Ppd immediately announced his new team after OpTic revealed the move. He took in 33 with him. His team has now been picked up by Ninjas in Pyjamas. Zai has been picked up by Team Secret. Pajkatt’s fate is still unknown. CCnC also followed ppd’s footsteps and formed his own team. Earlier known as S.K.O.L, the roster has now been picked up by paiN Gaming and is being called paiN X.
Although there is no official announcement as of yet, the team has been registered for Dota Pro Circuit 2018-19. paiN X has also been invited to the South American qualifiers for the Kuala Lumpur Major. The original roster of paiN gaming has also been invited as well.
It looks like paiN gaming is trying to increase their chances to get to TI9, despite Valve’s new ruling that there can be only one team per organization at The International. But organizations can field multiple teams during the Dota Pro Circuit 2018-19 majors.
The paiN X squad will consist of Dota 2 players from North America and South America. The team will be carried by Ravindu “Ritsu” Kodippili. He previously played for Cloud 9 and VGJ.Storm. More recently, he played for DC gaming. The second position will be CCnC. The team’s offlaner will be 4dr. He has previously played for paiN Gaming and SG esports. He will be transitioning from 1st/2nd position to the offlane. 4th position will be given to Francis “FrancisLee” Lee who has played for North American as well South American teams. Rodrigo Lelis “Liposa“ Santos will take up the fifth position. He previously played for SG esports.
